When Stress Takes Over

As I'm sure you're all aware, I haven't posted anything in a while. And as the title of this post would suggest, I've been a little beaten and stressed lately.

Unfortunately, life hasn't been too kind to me the last couple of months. I've had a run of bad luck and it's not exactly made things easy on me or helped with my creative flow or motivation when it comes to my blog. It's made me quite sad if I'm honest, as I was really feeling the desire to post regularly and was excited for the content I was working towards. That's not to say I won't be posting it, but it's definitely not been in the forefront of my mind.

Stress is a funny thing. It attacks from all sides affecting mood, sleep pattern, diet and just general health and well-being. It can tear you down and reduce you to nothing in mere moments and can make just doing the simplest tasks seem like such hard work. I've had a tough couple of months mentally, dealing with personal finance and staying on top of things. It's been a bit of a bleak time and it's not set to let up any time soon. The loss of sleep has caused all kinds of chain reactions too, one of which is making me quite irritable and generally just feel very down.
But with that said, I'm determined to try and keep my creativity going and try to push forward with a couple of ideas I had with this little space of mine. 

I think it's important to take time out when you're going through anything difficult, you need time to recharge and reset, to think and to absorb whatever it is that's going on. It's also important to try and keep moving forward too. I think it's far too easy to get stuck in a little hole and then find it all too easy still to stay there. This is something I'm striving to stay away from!

So with all this said, I'm going to slowly plod along on here, it may be somewhat infrequent until the new year, but this blog of mine has always been a work in progress. I don't think I'll ever really think of it as anything but that! Haha. Hopefully, you enjoy the content that is to come!
And if you're going through anything that's making you feel stressed, low or not yourself, then I hope you find your way soon. Just take some time to think and make sure you keep going any way you can!

We're all much stronger than we think we are.
